Cold Pressure Mount
Should be flat mounted only, on a rigid substraight. Do not use if your print will be unmounted, or rolled up for storage or shipment, if ink coverage is heavy, or if long-term durability is a prime concern.

Low-Temp Heat Mount
The best choice for inkjet front surface lamination. Does not channel or crack with normal use over time, and does not cause bubbles from ink gassification. We strongly reccommend a front surface lamination on all ink jet prints. Front surface lamination provides a humidity seal, and fading protection for ink jet prints. Without lamination, water damage is a risk. Without lamination, progressive fading can be discerned in about 30 days.

Thermal Hot Mount
For Ink Jets, the only high-heat lamination that can be successfully used is for the backside of the print. This Mount Back material is typically used where permanent adhesive qualities are desired on a flexible print. Because of the gasification result of high heat applied to inkjet prints, this lamination must be applied before a low-temp front surface lamination.

Photographic Prints
These prints, produced on both the Cruse Camera and the Durst Lambda Imager, have the archival life of normal photographs. Given this long-life expectation, a lamination will provide surface protection to match, and surface variations richer than the normal limited choices of photographic media: Matte or Glossy.
