Color Cruse Service: colorwise proudly offers Cruse Camera services. This machine is unique in the Bay Area. The Color Cruse Camera is a high precision, state-of-the art color photographic reprint service, which allows photographic reproduction of reflective originals without copy negatives or transparencies. The Cruse process assures excellent image quality and color fidelity by eliminating extra generations and negatives. It allows nearly any piece of flat-art, book, rendering, match print, printed piece, photo print, artwork, etc. to be reproduced photographically up to 6 feet by 14 feet without a negative or transparency!

Color Type R and Type C Prints:

These color prints are produced directly from your original color transparencies or negatives with a glossy or matte finish. Our maximum size on one panel is 4 feet by 14 feet for R-Prints and 6 feet by 14 for C-Prints. Of course, images may be tiled for even larger, more spectacular prints.

Duratrans:

Duratrans prints are full color photographs from negatives designed specifically for use in a backlit display . The substrate for these prints is translucent, providing for transmission of light through the print, and has a built-in diffuser for even illumination.

Displaytrans and Duraclear:

Displaytrans prints are produced from your color positives (either transparent or reflective) with a clear substrate for use in backlit displays. These prints need a diffuser installed between the print and the light source to provide even illumination. Duraclear is similar in characteristics to Displaytrans, but is produced from your color negatives.

Duraflex and Radiance-Select:

Duraflex and Radiance-Select prints are extremely durable color prints from your negative originals. A substrate of tough white polyester film gives these prints an extremely glossy surface and unbelievable depth of color. They are the ultimate in high quality photographic prints.

Duplicate and Copy Transparencies:

We can also create transparent copies of your flat reflective originals, or duplicates of your transparent originals. Sizing ranges from 35mm slides to brilliant, crisp 8x10 transparencies.
